Halkidiki peninsula is located southern of Thessaloniki city. It is constituted by three smaller peninsulas, Kassandra, Sithonia and Athos, giving the impression of a trident which infiltrates in the blue sea of Aegean. Sunny beaches covered with velvet sand, ideal creeks, scattered islands, pine hills infiltrating the blue crystal sea, traditional villages and modern resorts represent the image of modern Halkidiki.
